Squirrels are the youngest section of Scouting. Anyone aged four to six can be a member. Squirrels started in 2021 so is quite a new section. Carmarthenshire Scouts currently has two Squirrels dreys based in Llanelli and Carmarthen.
Scouting provides the young Squirrels with skills for life at a time when they need it most. They have their own uniform and can obtain badges and awards just like the other Scout sections.
If you have a young person interested in joining Squirrels then please register here.
All of our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe and open to all. Some lead the Drey week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills. Some work in the background with the upkeep of buildings and facilities. No matter how much time you have to spare or what your skills are there is always a way in which you can help us. Ask about Volunteering today.
