Introducing Our New Lead Volunteer for Carmarthenshire – Andrew Kelleher

My name is Andrew Kelleher, and I am proud to have been appointed as the Lead Volunteer for Carmarthenshire Scouts.

Scouting has been a huge part of my life for the past 15 years, during which I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles — including Cub Leader, Group Trustee, Group Lead Volunteer, and Assistant Area Commissioner (for Cubs and Beavers, as it was known then).

Scouting is truly a family affair for us. All of our children — now adults — and our grandchildren have been or are currently proud members of Carmarthenshire Scouts, and my wife has been a dedicated Beaver Leader for 18 years.

I’m incredibly excited about the next chapter. Over the next five years, I look forward to supporting and growing Scouting in Carmarthenshire, and to meeting more of the young people, volunteers, who make it all possible.

Together, let’s continue building an inclusive, inspiring, and adventurous Scouting experience for all.
